Our History

Anderson’s General Store is a division of Bulloch Fertilizer Company that began as a retail store in the mid-1960s. The store was originally located at the Bulloch Fertilizer Plant in downtown Statesboro. In early 2005, Purina approached the Andersons with the idea of becoming a Purina Premier Dealer. After much consideration, Bulloch Fertilizer decided to expand their retail operation and move the store to its current location on Highway 80 East. Anderson’s General Store was born and opened its doors to the public on October 1st, 2005.
